SOFTWARE TESTER

Job Description:

Belvedere Trading is seeking a QA Tester to join our growing IT department. The QA Testers will be responsible for the creation and execution of detailed test plans and scripts to verify new functionality in software and regression test existing functionality. You will be expected to use unit testing and code coverage to track and report defects of business requirements. Furthermore, integration testing will be used to assist with risk assessments.

Performance Objectives:

§ Use of Visual Studio Team System integrated testing tools to unit test and provide code coverage results
§ Improve system uptime with use of integration testing methodologies
§ Use .Net and third party profiling tools to improve performance, memory management and scalability.
§ Stay current and proficient on existing and emerging relevant SQL technology through self-study, company and vendor provided training opportunities
§ Monitor continuous integration build process and report failures to developers

Job Requirements:

§ 1-3 years relevant work experience
§ Master’s Degree Preferred
§ Great communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of Management
§ Back-end Testing experience preferred.
§ Experience with load testing Web Applications is highly desirable
§ Experience with all phases of testing including, System, Integration, Regression, and User accept.
§ Knowledge of .NET framework 2.0 a plus
§ Ants Profiling experience a plus
